This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Is there any kind of nose art registry out there on the web? I specifically need to find a picture of a Mustang named Marian. Preferably a wartime photo but a post war warbird would be o.k. Not looking for models or artwork. I don't know if there ever was a Mustang named Marian but where could I search for one?
There must be millions of images held by thousands of people and not all of them in the public domain but still is there any way to narrow such a search?

John, we've got a match, but you're going to need the help of any 4th FG/336th FS fans out there for a pic.
Scroll down to 44-14277. "Marian" was the mount of Lt. Ben Griffin. Formerly "Jersey Bounce III" piloted by Lt. Don Pierini.

Thanks to everyone that answered. Sorry I did not get back to this sooner. My son will go to school named Marian next year and play football for the Mustangs!
