Tondelayo has arrived at Kissimmee to offer flight experiences! Thom Richard and myself flew her from New Smyrna Beach to ISM yesterday. She is ready to go, prices are still $400 for the front and $325 for the waist gun positions. She will be living at Warbird Adventures for the time being and we want to make the most of her while she is here. Stop in and see us if you are in the area. How many places can you fly a T-6 and fly in a B-25 in the same day?? Pretty cool opportunity.

Good to hear Jim! Love that B-25.

Is she not pulling her own weight on the national tour?

Nope, thats not the reason, she is actually missed on tour. It was and still is the intention to bring the 262 out (please don't ask cause I don't know when) and the expense of flying all that hardware around the country is enormous, not to mention ramp space. We are going to run her out of Warbird Adventures while we have the chance. These airplanes need to be run and flown and what a great venue to stage out of!

Hey Jim I worked on her years ago when she was "Hoosier Honey", and have plenty of time just sitting in the pilots seat adn taking it all in. Man what a plane. What happened to the top turret? It had it back in the day.

I'll see what I can do I'll be in Tampa twice actually for about 5 days total.
I'll be up in Homosassa chasing the gators from my mom's backyard and
trying to deplete the local fish population the remainder.

Just remember, if you grab a gator by the tail, the other end has teeth! Homosassa is a pretty area, I've camped up that way.

My mom lives on a canal just off the Crystal River. Spitting distance from Monkey Island.

One of the coolest times of my life was working with the crew to get it running again after it sat for many years at the Beaver County Airport.
I went back and took a look at some pics I had of it back in the day, and it without a doubt had the top turret back then.
