Could be wrong, but it sure was loud whatever it was!

I heard my wife running the vacuum cleaner (and I'm sure it was a vacuum cleaner), and it was really loud too!

I'm sure there are probably some vacuum cleaners in the Wittman Regional Airport area as well, but there darn sure is an A-4 Skyhawk nearly ready to fly here. Does your wife have one of them too Valdez?

Zach, you are now on level 10 alert. Get the video camera (stills at minimum) and get the proof. I'll buy the brats next year if you do.

Now I don't know who would have been making all that noise today! :D Nobody could see us through the cruddy weather and low ceilings. I'm happy to report that we did run the A4 today at full power and the engine is trimmed and ready to go. It was impressive standing by it and feeling the concrete shake under my feet. I'll post some pictures tomorrow as I just got home and am ready for a beer. The Scooter is heading airborne soon!

The roar was so loud that it reached into the bowels of the museum where my office lies. It was a beautiful sound...quite unlike vacuum cleaners.

Zack, I can confirm it is louder than a vacum cleaner.

If it sounded like a vacuum it would have been a S-3 Viking.

Right on Tim!! Right up till it sucks you up!! I remember the TA-4s flying at P-Cola back in the 70s.. It was cool seeing the pattern full of them!!
Never heard one at full power close by though. Although standing by a F-14 on the cat in burner is fairly impressive

Nope, but she has a T-6, and I'd rather watch her vacuum in her French Maid outfit than see an A-4 fly.
