Would love to see some photos as soon as they are allowed to be shown!

Off the top of my head I know Midwest Aero has P-51D 44-73343 and P-51D 44-63577 under restoration. Fighter Rebuilders is currently finishing up Twilight Tear and working on the Friedkin's A-36 42-83731. There are the two P-82's under restoration, one by Tom Reilly, the other by C&P Aviation.

Then there is Cal Pacific Airmotive and Pacific Fighters who combined have at least a few others under restoration. And isn't there a P-51B currently being built that is going to be finished as the 352nd FG "Patty Ann II"? I know there has to be several more as well besides these and those already listed.

Look at the Westpac page and you can see them working on the tail.
Do a search has I've posted a bunch of pics before if left Idaho.

War Eagles Air Museum is restoring 44-75024 (N96JM), which has been an on and off restoration for some time.

There was another airframe in the restoration shop, but I do not know if it is still there.

Pima Air & Space is restoring a static P-51D.

There has been a considerable amount of progress to this airframe since I took this photo in March.

OK, I'll stop for a moment.

What is neat to see in the items above is the number on non-Vanilla 'D' models underway. A-36, Twin, and the G.
