Just a little background. The slides were taken by my dad with his brand new Cannon 35mm camera he picked up on a little trip when he was recalled to active duty for Korea.

Are you talking about the tail on the Hellcat?
Been having trouble sorting that as well. Guess I should have asked him before it was too late
