Tim Wallis's Hurricane was 'passed in' at the auction yesterday. Reached AU$2.9M short of AU$3.2M reserve.

The agents are talking to bidders this week.

P3351 is Sir Tim's Hurricane. A magnificent example.

Is it being sold to continue funding operations at Wanaka, or are the operations at Wanaka going to be gradually wound down completely? There would seem to be very few aircraft left there.
