Restoration Progress O-58A 42-7796 !0/29/2013

Drove up to the paint shop to check progress on the plane today and Whitney had shot two coats of the Dark Olive Drab #41 on the fuselage and was sanding the 2nd coat with 600 grit before applying the 3rd and final coat of OD. The belly has already been done with Neutral Gray #43. They are doing a nice job on the aircraft and the PolyFiber Aerothane looks really nice in full flat finish. National Insignia will go on this week, she is being finished as she was the Spring of 1942 while assigned to the 109th Observation Squadron.
