Great news. Much better that records be given to museums that are willing to let people look at the records than museums that "Hoard" information and refuse any research to any but a select few!

Congratulations to all involved. The Pratt group (including WIXer walkerarmyairfield) is doing all they can to preserve the history of the airfield and I'm glad to see them working with the 29th BG.

Now all they need is a B-29! If they could borrow back that B-29 Hangar and...and.......and........shame that wouldn't happen, no funding, also a shame they tore down so much of the base, some of it recently, but it is hard to upkeep old buildings with little funding.

I have known Joe for years and I am very happy that is sweat and tears will be so well preserved.., i am hoping Tucson will be the resting place for all of the 330th's!

Thanks to all for your kind words of support for our museum project. We will do our best to preserve Joe's 25 years of research as the 29th BG's Historian. The archives will be displayed and available for easy access.
