Here is Bernie Poppert in front of a georgeous TBM-3E that was restored by John Lane a while ago and she still looks great. Danny Summers sure takes good care of her.

When you write the "Muzalla boys", do you mean the Juniors ? I have been tchating with them in Osh for the last two editions, and they sound that they really like the authentic work...

I understand this is the last year for the RR Heritage Trophy. I know that they have cancelled it completely for the eastern division at the Dayton Airshow and heard the rumor it was done at Reno as well. Any truth to that rumor???

No truth to the rumor that the NAHI (National Aviation Heritage Invitational) program is going to be cancelled. The event has been getting better and stronger each year and will most certainly continue. The quality of the attending aircraft also seems to be better each year but the majority are from the West coast.

The Eastern NAHI event was cancelled when Dayton changed their date to coincide with Oshkosh which made it impossible for the judges to attend since most of them judge at OSH as well.

NAHI is looking to find a good location to have an East coast/Eastern event once again. Any suggestions?

Yes the Muszala kids from Pacific Fighters in Idaho are awesome and they really love the details. They are the future of Warbirds. Dad sure has a lot to be proud of.
