attended my son's usmc graduation from basic training yesterday at parris island, south carolina. of course time was short, but i walked through their museum on my son's suggestion, & man was he right to do so!!! i thought it was cool that touring it was required in his training. the f-4 cockpit, & flight gear from ww 1 to present is all displayed 1st class. the museum coordinators haven't missed a trick as to display & care of the artifacts. i am so f'ing proud of of that kid!! & he's pursuing his career field as an aviation mechanic. i guess i taught him something even though i never served. go tell it to the gods!!
