Anyone here with access to the preserved MiG-29s at McMinnville, Goodfellow, or Wright-Patterson?
I am looking for the fuselage number of each of of these MiGs. It can be found as follows:
Go into the nose-wheel bay and stand up facing the rear.
Turn 90 degrees to the left, and above your head, almost at the top of the bay, will be a small plate (maybe 2 inches x 1 inch)
I am looking for the 4-digit number stamped on this plate. You will probably need a torch to read it.
Many thanks,
Andy Marden

There is a Mig 29 located about 15 miles North from Everett WA. It should be close to flying?

Serial Number 50903014896. It's a Mig 29 UB.

See what I can do on that. The nose gear well is sealed on the Goodfellow MiG, but it might be listed on the info plaque.

James,
That is the construction number. 29605 shows that it is a Fulcrum A model, the last five digits are a random number.
I'm still after the line number (also called fuselage number) which is in the place I described.
Regards,
Andy Marden
