The real P-39 Snooks 2nd was for along time with MAPS. Recently I had heard a rumor, that the NMUSAF was looking into obtaining it for Dayton. Now I am just dismissing it as a rumor, but I was wondering if anyone knew what the plans where for this P-39.

Let's hope they weren't planning on confiscating it.

THe real Snooks 2nd was sitting outside in Akron the last time I saw it. THe Maps guys placed all of Tallichet's stuff together on one side of the ramp. I think this is more rumor at this time, but I thought it was worth asking about.

The last link there is the real Snooks. The One in Buffalo NY was thought to be it, but it is just painted in it's markings.

I remember reading that when these wrecks were recovered one of them had Brooklyn Bum on one side and Snooks 2nd on the other?
