Yeah, the CAF sold it to that fella in NC over a year ago since nobody in the CAF wanted it assigned to them.

Very interesting !!!! Courtesy site always said it had been sold but the registration was never transferred. I always wondered what really happened. Talk about overpricing. I thought the Courtesy price was really high and now this guy even higher.

I don't want it that bad....LOL Hey wish him luck with sale..whatever the market will bear. Maybe I'll contact him and see if it looks the same

Karen, there are pictures on the Barnstormers.com website, but I just didn't transfer them over to WIX. It looks the same, only with different noseart.

I was gonna post on Don's Warbird/Peacebird thread that more people thought that silly CAF YO was a real military vet....DUH. I mean reallly the military had either 6 or 10 but were never formally accepted and they NEVER had invasion stripes   Now I have a true battle scarred combat veteran and everybody thinks is just a funny painted civilian Skymaster......go figure.

Lady02Pilot...

I LOVE your warbird! If GCW had not been upside down with TR I wanted us to go for the 02 that was up for re-assignment.

We could have painted it Kermit green and everything.

Peace,

SPANNER

Thank you, Don :D I'm kinda partial to it too.....but I am intrigued by Kermit. Hope to see it in person some time soon. Think they'll let you park the Peacebird on the Warbird ramp at WOH :?: :?: <ducking from possible incoming from who knows where>

nose gear fork attaches to both sides of the nosewheel rather than just one side.

Just a matter of a period in the wrong place:

[quote]Dual Nose Gear. Oil Filter. Quick Drain[/quote[

Should read:

Dual; Nose Gear Oil Filter. Quick Drain :D :D

Saludos,
