I stumbled upon this entry in flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/eymsig/2095840849/

Can anyone provide any details of the crash, the pilot, the serial number, any recovered components, etc?

If you are going to crash a P-39, an Allison Engine is that last thing that goes through your mind!
