Jack, I believe that's actually one of the YP-39's. The XP-39 had a vertical stabilizer with a narrower chord than the example in your pic.

So this is the very fisrt Airacobra :idea: Hhhmmmm- I still have one unbuilt kit in 1/48 and I should check out on the available documentation about what to do and convert to get this machine
