I just found this tribute to the P-40 on youtube... Now which one of you put it together? I love the choice of song for the video too. It really illustrates the passion this person has for the P-40. On a serious note, there's some really excellent 'vintage' footage. I love the olive drab US Army scheme. Very nice!

I really really like the P-40, but this guy's gone a little further than I'd take it.

Enjoy,

P.S. Oops, I just realized I put it in the wrong forum. Mods, do your thing :)

I think that that might be the wrong link. I opened it and watched a 31 sec. clip of a P-40 taking off with narration from the announcer and about 10 sec. of music.

Thanks Xrayist,

you are totally right. I was watching so many videos of P-40's that I must have mixed it up. To the viewing public, I apologize for the error. I've editted the first post with the proper URL.

Maybe now you'll know what I was talking about.

Cheers,

David

Nice and interesting that a lot of the wartime footage shows the Merlin powered P40F (you can tell by the missing top mounted carb scoop)

Nice video, but that cheesy, sappy music HAS to go!
