trying to find info on a vet

Is there an online site where I can research WW2 RCAF aircrew? I'm looking for info on a W.F. Mills, 612236067, from London, Ontario and apparently he flew H.P. Halifax B.IIIs. Thanks!

Hi,

Try this site. They specialize in researching WWII RAF and Commonwealth airmen.

I think you have too many numbers in his Regimental No. If he was an NCO, his No. would start with the letter R- followed by five or six numbers. If by chance he was an Officer, it would start with the letter J- followed by four or five numbers.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

Could it be a postwar number perhaps? The info written above was all written in black marker on his sleeping bag, so thats all I have to go on. I was told he flew Halifax B.IIIs during the war, and after the war he flew Arctic survival training missions with the RCAF.
