Thank you for visiting Gary's website. It is with great sadness we report that Gary died in a plane crash on Thursday, July 9th while practicing in Mystical Power near his home in Colorado.

Please keep Becky, Lindsay, Geoffrey, Lauren, and Taylor Anne in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

We will post funeral arrangements and family requests as they become available.

That was Tom Campau's plane, and he won the Reno Air Races 3-4 times with it.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. My thoughts & prayers go out to all those affected by this, & I extend my sincere condolences.
Many years ago, my late friend Milt Yarbrough was to have flown this aircraft at Reno. Sadly Milt was killed in another T-6 before M.P. build was complete. I was supposed to have been flying with Milt that day but a strange turn of events prevented me from doing so.
