Naval Aviation Museum T-34's

In the "savage on the port cat" thread in one of the pics you can see a substantial lineup of T-34's on the museum ramp.
What are they planning on doing with these airplanes? I guess they are old navy flying club birds?
I'm sure they would find ready buyers if the price was right.
Here's hoping they don't end up as artificial reefs or some such. They have been there for quite a few years, I remember seeing them just after the hurricane (@ 2004?)

I've been told they are "trade bait".

My first warbird ride was in 1975 in the Whiting Field Flying club's T-34B still in it's VT-1 marking.
A lot of the flying clubs are flying Xrecruiting command birds.

I wonder what they will trade for. I thought that was the purpose of the great lakes airplanes though?
