I was reading the Mosquito article on wikipedia and it gace the impression that Jerry Yeagons Mosquito was finished and just about ready for flight.

From the article: "Another in New Zealand, KA114, has been restored for American collector Jerry Yagen by Avspecs, and it has become the first airworthy Mosquito since 1996. It was intended to have the aircraft flying at the 2009 Classic Fighters airshow in New Zealand. Unfortunately, this goal was not achieved."

Is this accurate, and will we see a flying Mosquito soon for the first time since 1996?

No and soonish, although as Dave says probably closer to the end of next year, maybe a bit longer.

The work that has been done by Glynn Powell/Avspecs is superb.
