This past weekend we had the good fortune to have a T-33 join our little collection. According to the owner it's a Lockheed built T-33 and was one of the first 20 delivered to the RCAF. The FAA records show it as a Canadair built airplane, but I'm inclined to believe the guy who wrote the check. It was flown by the RCAF until 2000 so it's less than 10 years out of active service. They flew it down from Canada via Ft. Wayne IN, St. Louis and finally KFTW. He said that they didn't even burn all the fuel in the tip tanks between St. Louis and Fort Worth! It has a pretty stock cockpit, with the exception of a few modern radios. The Canadians upgraded the engine to a Rolls Royce Nene. All in all, a little paint and/or polish and some paperwork, and she'll be up and flying in no time. Here are a few pics for now, I'll post more as we get them.

We also have the local EAA chapter leasing hangar space to build a 1/2 scale F-4U Corsair project. It hasn't arrived yet, but I can post pictures of it too if anyone is interested.
