Wed Jul 01, 2009 9:15 am

Is this a mockup or link trainer panel (with real instruments), or an actual aircraft panel? and if so - whats it from??

Bid now on this Vintage U.S. Navy Aircaft control panel complete with all the control indicators. I bought it out of an estate sale and is the first one I've ever had. So whoever buy it may know alot more about it than I do. The control panel weighs about 15l-20 lbs. and measures 24" x !9". It is in good condition. I'm going to give you a list of indicator and serial #s. I hope that it is helpful in dating it and which plane used it. There are two KNOTS - DIAL indicator mfr's# AF525702 Kollsman Design, Flap Degrees indicator mfr's# 8DJ48AAD, Level Indicator NAS QUONSET PT. overhauled in 3/25/1953 Nose and Fuselage indicator serial#12231, Altitude Limit Switch indicator SAI/ARN-I serial #3933, Fuel indicator, Pressure indicator Buaer U.S.Navy Indicator Pressure Aircraft Remote 223-A8 OST NAS Norfolk, Carb. Not a Link Trainer that I have seen!

But looks like quite a 'mish-mosh' of parts!

it is a board with instruments stuck in it, nothing more

Just someone's collection of random instruments stuck in a board. Individually, all together, a nice little collection. Add up the individual values then, if only $106, not a bad price (for a Mish-mosh!).

I love the two little red lights in the lower left hand corner!

HAH
