the Air Heritage L-21 was involved in a groundloop. Engine, propr, and tail damaged. Everyone alright, with some minor injuries.

Oh well, it happens. Nice job flipping it back over. Before dad died, he said to give his L-21 which we had since the early 1970s to a museum. I was at the PGH Airshow a couple years ago, trying to talk to one of the guys who was with this particular one. I couldn't get him to shut up long enough to say "Would you like another one?". After about 20 minutes I passed and decided to hang on to the plane. Its still in the back of the hangar now........

I remember when all of those came over from Italy in the olden days.

Yeah we got them from the state. I'm glad that you held on to yours. It is one of my dreams to get one some day.

I played the video backwards and it looks to me like a bunch of houligans flipped over a perfectly good plane.

Back in the early '80s I used to hang out at Tri-County airport east of Boulder, CO. I remember somebody on the field had one of those ex-Italian cubs, still in original camo with all the placards in Italian..including a big one on the panel reading "No Fumare!"
