There is a museum on the top of Mt Diablo that Adm. Nimitz was at the opening and seeing the old airways beacon asked that it be turned on, on December 7th to remember Pearl Harbor. I have seen several times over years from the south end of Mare Island. So if anyone in the neighborhood take a look.
