Is it still the case in the US that Flug Werk P-51 parts are only able to be used on aircraft registered in the Experimental category?

Are they licensed by NAA to build those? Looks like more than a big repair! A few more bits and you have an airplane!

Come on... there are already US companies building new fuselage and new wings from scratch... and they have been doing that for a number of years already !

100% right.

However, many have been following this for a good while now.

I though worthy on mention.

It sure is... just do not know how much of a market there is for such fuselages in Europe. USa seems a logical choice, but there is already fierce competition there.

When are the Franks, Willows, 109E's, P-40Bs, P-35s, and P-36s going to come out?

And what groups specifically are building new P-51s in the USA? Chris the uneducated.

In North Dakota, you can get a brend new fuselage, and a few miles away, a brand new set of wings.

In the Uk (if I understand correctly) they're not allowed. which probably explains why the Marinell ID is defended so vigorously.
Jack who's still waiting to see those promised photos of that complete original airframe

Think it also the problem they are having getting a Fw190 flying in the Uk.
