I am looking for pictures of the B-17G Flying Fortress "Ack Ack Annie" from the 91st BG and the 322nd BS.
The photos are for the son of a bombardier that flew aboard this aircraft in WWII.
Thanks in advance for any help in locating pics of this Fort.
Regards,
Kevin

Coded LG-L S/N 42-32095.
She survived 143(with 31 different pilots!) missions and returned to the states! Only to die in Kingman AZ

Two books you need to have if like me you had relatives that served in the 91st(or even friends of relatives)are:
"plane names and fancy noses" by Ray Bowden.
The other is a group history: "the ragged irregulars of bassingbourn, the 91st bombardment group in WWII by, Marion Havelar with William Hess.
Must reads  , might not be cheap now but worth it!
The 91st also has a good website check into it.

There's a beautiful photo of Ack-Ack Annie in March 1945 at http://www.flickr.com/photos/49024304@N00/2962320179/in/set-72157608125792619/.
