Great show at Platte Valley (40 miles or so North of Denver) if you're in the area, last year I got to ride in a WW2 Stuart tank and fire off a (blank) round. From the Barnstormers.com ad:

Fun for the whole family with proceeds benefiting Vintage Aero Flying Museum, 501c3. • www.lafayettefoundation.org • Contact Andy J. It looks like it was a great time at the Lafayette Foundation.
I went up to the Spirit of Flight Center in Erie.
Otherwise I would have gone up to Platte Valley on Saturday.
The SOF (Spirit of Flight) had some new stuff.
They had a copy of the new mural that they are going to put up.

It is going to be this massive art mural against the hanger door by aviation artist Joe Jones.
The mural is 9’ tall by 60’ wide and sections of it will be portable to take to other locations and events
Looks like it is going to be very nice!!!

The SOF also set up for an event later on.
This is the place to have aviation events!

The weather that morning could have been better... but it was a fun time inside the SOF.
Too bad both the Erie balloon festival was at the same time as the Platte Valley event.

Regards,
