Burnet, TX CAF Wing

Are there any members from the Burnet CAF wing here? I may be at BMQ between 4:30 and 5:00pm tomorrow evening.

What's the latest on the various aircraft there?

Ryan,

I flew the Cub down there yesterday. IIRC the C-47 "Bluebonnet Belle", an SNJ, an L-4 (or maybe L-2 I didn't pay much attn. to it), and for some reason I think I remember a PT-19? and an L-17?

I just peeked in the hangar doors to say hello, so I didnt look around too much... too bad we missed eachother by two days! Have fun.

LOL! Too bad. Sounds like the usual suspects. It's been about a year or so since I've made it up there.

BTW, I still haven't heard from the Brownwood folks. I think I'll be in your airspace tomorrow as well, but I don't think we're stopping there. May be close enough to Brownwood at some point to get some kind of picture.

Burnet, Texas, is home to the Highland Lakes Squadron, and that sounds like the right aircraft listed. The C-47, L-17, PT-19, and SNJ are CAF aircraft.

There is an excellent artifact display area as well.
