The same source has unearthed another Registration of a P-40N USAAF Number: 42-104959 ex PNG and YAF

http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry ... rtxt=959FT

42-104959 is often quoted at the number of the John Fallis P-40N Flyer but that is actually 42-105861
