There's always that 10% that doesn't get the word, one guy in khakis and one rifleman badge.

The guy in the Khakis is the sqd adj Capt Peterson and the wearer of the expert rifleman is my cousin Don. He was recommened for the Navy Cross at G-Canal but it was never acted upon. Can you find the Navy IO or the sqd gunner??

Its a rilfeman bagde, expert is crossed rilfes, you can't fool an old Marine Jack.

The original rifleman badge was just a straight bar only.
So it's either sharpshooter or expert.

He wasn't in the squadron...at this time he was in VMF-442.
