Nice looking airplane. Any idea on the intended paint scheme?

Too bad it's only got 4 blades.... :(

Thanks for posting,

Were there ever any Sea Furies in military service that had a polished metal finish?

It's destined to come to over to Europe to join it's owners collection in France, so will be interesting to see what scheme it ends up wearing.

I noticed that the FAA registration is the same as for the Sea Fury lost with Carey Moore (TF987) about eight years ago in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. I assume that the paper work is the same, but that the current aircraft is a bitsa. However, I am curious to know if any parts from TF987 made it into the airframe... I remember the tail section survived relatively intact. Anyone know?

Cheers,
Richard

I don't have further information, but I suppose that this plane will be transferred to a French registration. So the current registration would be temporary...
