Find the Cost of Freedom...Buried in the Ground...Mother Earth Will Swallow You.....Lay your body down.......
Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. Never a more True Statement in Song.
I am telling you...I believe, that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights should be displayed right slap in the middle of Arlington.
You want to see and read the Constitution/Bill of Rights...Then you must walk through the Garden of Stone, to see what price has been paid, Yes, this is the Land of the Free.....Walk through the Home of the Brave, then Dare to walk with me into Battle

I can't even begin to imagine the terror that those brave young men faced on every mission. It is only through the sacrifices and bravery of the men and women of our Armed Forces that we enjoy our freedom. Never forget that freedom is not free. Freedom is earned and kept by the blood, sweat, and tears of soldiers, sailors, and airmen. Honor them always.
Jack, thanks for sharing these photos.

Sobering indeed...
I just don't want to imagine how the poor chaps manning these stations ended. Lots of broken dreams and lives ended prematurely...
Thanks for reminding us.
