Sydney Australia Area airports..help

Morning all
Doing a little research and having trouble figuring out just how many operating airports are in the Sydney Australia area. Have a friend heading down that loves to take pics of historic and unusual aircraft, plus hes just an aircraft nut.
If anyone can advise what is in the Sydney area it would be appreciated.
Looking for the small off beat places, already have:
Kingsford Smith
Bankstown
Camden
Hoxton Park

Well in Sydneee... we have for historic and unusal aircraft -
Kingsford Smith - hmm not really that a GA airport but you may see occasional old jets or military but have to be in know to see.
Bankstown - Bankstown museum but thats closing down soon and moving to Camden this year late 2009? - you may see around bankstown if lucky aircraft outside or on ramp - warbirds bit hard to see - i last went in 2006 for a lookie. Currently 4 DC-3 awaiting sale sit at bankstown.
Camden - if your lucky you might see some stuff on grass or inside a hangar. Visit the Camden Museum of Aviation - about Sydney only true decent museum left, virtually full of rare aircraft.. see it on the internet.
Hoxton Park - sorry but your wauy to late the airfield was closed in December 2008 and now totally ripped up and been sold off for housing .. bloooddy wanker developers. Used to have a DC-3 and ive flown out of it long time ago.
Albion park airport at Wollongong way has HARS Museum.. see if you can get down there see their webpage for more information.
Otherwise thats all we poor Sydneee people have.. bugger all really. Everyhting is outside Sydney or interstate unless you know people etc

1. Come to Melbourne. 
2. While stuck in Sydney, the Maritime Museum has a helicopter, but is also an excellent museum of history and, obviously, ships. Well worth a visit.
3. The Powerhouse Museum has the historic Consolidated Catalina 'Frigate Bird' of PG Taylor - see the thread in the Vintage section:

It also has several other aircraft - Dick Smith's first solo-around the world helicopter, the Bell Jetranger, a Cierva C-30 and so forth. Another good transport and technology museum.
4. Hire a car, drive five hours inland and visit Temora.
5. Take a short flight to Canberra and visit the Australian War Memorial.
Or, 6 just come to Melbourne...

My friend is only down for 3 weeks and most of that will be on a contract job, but I will pass on all info.

If he's interested in aviation or military history, he really should make the effort to get to the AWM in Canberra. He'll have a great time in Sydney (it's a great place to visit, even in the Autumn (Fall) but if he can get to Melbourne, get him to give me a shout via here by PM.
