This is magnificent work and most likely a lifetime dream achieved for this person. Simply beautiful!
I recently attended a mechanics/physics convention with our son. There I met a man who had hand crafted from blueprints an exact replica of a Merlin V1650-7 engine. The model was about 6 inches long and made completely of engine grade metal. It was complete with a miniature two stage/two speed supercharger and carb. It had twin miniature Rotax mags and Transport heads. (He didn't model Merlin Fingers but I didn't mention it to him:-) The engine used a miniature 24D50 hub swinging 4 beautifully hand made Hamilton Standard 6547A blades. Even the prop reduction gearing was correct.
It was an unbelievable acheivement and I'm sure a one of a kind model in the entire world.
