Interview Suggestions?

Wed Mar 18, 2009 10:20 am

Sometime in the next three months or so I'll be taking a trip to Albuquerque, New Mexico to interview a balloonist for EAA's Timeless Voices of Aviation oral history program. For those not familiar with the program, Timeless Voices is video interviewing folks involved in aviation and then putting the interviews in edited form online for free access. An interview with WIX's own Gary Austin will be online soon.

In any case, trips like this are relatively rare for me, so I want to try to maximize the effort by doing some other interviews along the way. Does anyone know of any veterans or other interesting aviation people living in or near Des Moines, Kansas City, Topeka, Wichita, Albuqueque, Amarillo, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Springfield, MO, or St. Louis that would be good candidates to contact?

Thanks for any help!

Zack

Try contacting local veterans organizations in those respective cities. Send them a letter telling them about the EAA's program and how to contact you if interested. Make sure any paperwork includes a SASE.
