Posted this here, for visibility since if I post it elsewhere in the forum, not everyone would get to see it:

M. Schettl Sales (Hwy 41 S. and Hwy 76) between Neenah and Oshkosh, WI
has a large size (measured in feet) scale model of an armed F-16 for sale.

The price quoted was $598.00.

Sorry, I did not take any photos.

Saludos,

Tulio

is it 1 of those foldable / unfoldable decoys?? i think they were used during the 1st iraq war. a guy in cleveland had 1 or 2 for sale in the mid to late 90's for 15 thousand bucks. he had 1 displayed at the cleveland airshow. it looked rather boxy & squared off up close but at altitude it would have past for the real deal. if it's the same thing that i'm describing.... then what a price slash!! :?

No, this is definitely not a decoy.

It is a large (probably 6ft long) model, in the two-tone gray scheme, and if I am not mistaken, the tail letters are for Spangdahlem (sp?) Germany.

All the underwing pods are loaded.

I thought about buying it, but it would have not fitted in my truck, and shipping it home would be very expensive....

I did not take photos, because at the time, I was busy with car trouble.

Saludos,

Tulio
