Thinking that might be a 38D Jack. No fillet by the wing to cockpit join, looks like no nose cannon either, just the 4 MGs. 1st FG got D models in 41.

could be i'm no expert and a lot of models were the early versions have minor changes. Like those early P-39s all look the same to me also!
What I thought was interesting was the pilot
