Now that things are settling down here a bit on the old homestead, I've been trying to find some additional things to do around the Virginia area this coming summer. Another trip to Udvar-Hazy, Dayton Airshow/NMUSAF weekend and a lot of visits to the local NASCAR tracks ( )...found this airshow called the Virginia Flyin. Any of the other members here who are from the Virginia area ever been to this show or is it a new show? If it is an ongoing show, is it usually a show of Mr Yagens gems or do others bring their birds as well? Thanks in advance for any additional info.

This is a regional EAA fly-in. Last year had a pretty good turn out but smoke from fires near by kept a lot of airplanes away. They no longer have an airshow display but it is a pretty good fly-in.

Thank you sir for the reply...I take it that you have been to it before? With Suffolk being reasonably close to Va Beach, was curious if Mr Yagen shows up with any of his beauties? Come to think of it, Mr Beasley is not too terribly far away either...would love to drool on that new Mark 18 Spitfire he has :P
