Greetings
I just got off the phone with a buddy of mind and he told that a B-17 (Silver with a Yellow Tail) has been at the Addison Airport for the last few months . I know that it is not Chuckie out of Fort Worth . Who is it ?
Can anybody confirm this ?

Liberty Belle is supposed to be doing the ride thing at Cavanaugh this weekend! She's got a yellow rudder.

I'm planning on going over on Saturday to see her.

Anyone know what the flight schedule might look like?

I have a flight booked Sunday morning at 11:00 AM. C'mon over then instead of Saturday, Zane, and we can have an E2E and do some catching up.

Cheers!

Chuckie is not leaving Fort Worth any time soon. Our team is presently taking care of the periodic wing spar AD inspection and other necessary maintenance tasks. We hope to have her flying again by this summer. This stuff takes time, manpower, and money. Mechanical and maintenance help and cash donations are always welcomed!

Cheers!

Sorry Dean...Sunday is booked up. A lot of Saturday is as well...But I will take time to see this B-17.

I missed her last time they were in the area a few years ago. I have not seen this airplane. As far as flyers go, I have yet to see Belle, the "movie" Memphis Belle or Fuddy Duddy.

After you are done touring The Liberty Belle why don't you take a few minutes and take a look at Ol' 927 Dave and Shorty have been lavishing a lot of attention on her the last week or so.

If you feel so inclined, you could even take one of our flyers and arrange a time that you can go flying in her! :D

Everyone be safe out there!

Chris

Rest assured that 927 is on my list as well!

Which A-26 is there?

Many Thanks for posting pictures of my favorite restored A26. It is a real beauty and I am glad that someone is flying her...after such a long time for sale.

I found this video of "Liberty Belle" arriving at Cavanaugh in the dark. The flight from Savannah, GA to Addison, TX was 6 hours.
