New Oberursel rotary engines in NZ

For the first time in nearly 100 years a new Oberursel rotary engine has been manufactured to power a WW1 fighter.

WAY, WAY TOO :supz: :supz: COOL!! What an undertaking. I was however concerned to see that the videographer standing in the track of the propeller while the engine was running, very dangerous!!

They're doing some great stuff there. So, what's next? A brand new WW1 airplane with reproduction original engine (as long as it's Oberursel,Beardmore, RAF1 or Mercedes powered.)

Done, they have already built 3 completely authentic SE-5As. :D
