Warbird Information Exchange

Attended my first lecture at the Military Aviation Museum today, topic was Rosie the Riveter. Have to hand it to the folks at the museum this was a well done affair. The lecture was given by a female reenactor named Cherie McClung, who was dressed for the part and knew her information which was delievered fun and entertaining way. On stage with her were two real "Rosies", one that worked in a Spitfire factory in England and the other worked for Martin helping to build the PBM Mariners. The question and answer session was very informative and gave some great insights to what it was like back then. When the talk was over the museum flew their P-40 Warhawk with several touch and go's. There were plenty of docents around to help with crowd control and were knowledgeable about the aircraft on display.
Next month is a lecture on the B-25 with flights by Wild Cargo at the end. Hope the weather is as nice then as it was today.

Is this the same museum that's associated with the Fighter Factory?

Yes it is. Sounds like they have a program similar to POF.

Yes, the museum that is an outgrowth of Fighter Factory. My understanding is that FF will move in with the museum as the city council has approved the building of more structures at the museum to include a maintenance/restoration hangar.
