Horsemen promo on ASB

Tue Mar 03, 2009 11:09 pm

Hey all whenever you get a chance check out what's happening over on ASB. It's soon going to undergo a significant change, and we've been working pretty hard on the Horsemen for 09 as well. It should be a good show.

Jim, are you guys going to be at Chino this year?

Tue Mar 03, 2009 11:24 pm

Yup. I hope to bring mine across the US for the show and Ed and Dan will find something to fly. Also, more importantly I need to see that Tigercat demo!

Great promo they did there for you guys Jim. I'm excited to see how "Max" is when he gets to deal with a much more manageable level of presentation. :)

BTW, how was it working with him?

And I see that you will embark on a "European tour 2009" adding Duxford to the schedule as well. Having seen the duo for the last few years, it will be cool to see the trio. Thankfully I have already booked a hotel for that weekend...

Max is really easy to abuse. Really easy. But he's a good friend and other than that he's been having fun too. I soloed him in my T6 and here's a shot of Lee getting him up to speed in the TF. He does well.

Holy Crap! Thaaaaat was awesome! Kudos to the producers of that short.

Show that promo in theaters (yeah, I'm dreaming) for the forthcoming feature film (dreaming *is* fun, yes it is!), and you'll inspire a whole generation of young minds - no doubt!

I'm inspired, to say the least, but if I paint one more Mustang I'll be typecast as an artist ... hmm, well, that wouldn't be that bad ... 8)

I think I've watched that video 3 or 4 times now, doesn't get old.

do you think there is any chance of the horsemen coming to the upper-midwest area this year?

Wed Mar 04, 2009 10:42 am

Yeah! That was fun!

Looks more and more like a trip to Houston this fall might have to go on the schedule.

Jim,

Can't wait to see you guys and the act at Jones Beach in May!

Any chance you can get the Spit to Reading for the WW2 weekend? I guess you guys will be in the UK for FL same time as Geneseo?

Isn't it irresponsible to fly a Mustang so close to the ground?

Can't wait to see that in person.

P.S. Whatever you do, don't let Rich escape the east coast! He's got work to do.
