I am posting this for a friend who is looking for information about his cousin's B-24 that went MIA over Bangladesh. It was B-24L-10-FO, 44-49607. This aircraft was flown from Willow Run to Tulsa on October 12, 1944 to the Douglas mod center for modifications. His question has to do with those modifications. Does anyone have any information on what modifications were being done to this block of aircraft in Tulsa? He's asked the folks at Maxwell, and is going to ask the Douglas archivists. Just didn't know if someone here might have the info.

Thanks!

kevin
