Just got this e-mail and pictures yesterday.........

Set sail last Tuesday.. Loaded on vessel after 5 lifts over fences and curbs, and then onto ship, with no injuries. Will be posting pictures on the "Red" Web Page this afternoon......

I hope she has a safe "float" across the pond.

She will look fantastic with the Alps as a background...

Edit: I know RedBull prefers to shy away from the military aspect of their planes... but I would just love to see some pre-war US insignia on those wings... it would just match so well. :?

She looks marvelous! Congrats to the folks in Breckenridge!

Really makes me wonder just what is going on? Any further info? Perhaps delivered by carrier, dropped over the side onto the "contraption" to go ashore? Or a recovery? It has got to be close to or over the weight limit of those ducks combined, not a lot of freeboard there! Would make a great diorama!!!

She looks well tied down, just hope everything else around her is well strapped as well! Are the wingtips removed for clearance?
Hope she has a safe, uneventful voyage. No Somali Pirates!!!

I just got a sickly feeling that the nose and tail sections are not gonna look that great on arrival at destination.

I hope she has an easy crossing. I was looking at the nose and tail feathers clearance maybe 18" to 24" at the most. Those nylon tie-downs are tough. They hold my Camaro on a bounching trailer when I go to the dragstrip. Maybe she'll be back. Who knows, with all the financial crap flying around right now maybe someone over here will make a good buy on her later this year or next. Keep the faith.
