Back when I was alittle kid I got in contact with Tony Mazilino(sp?) and Wayne Gomes the public relations officer for the United States Aviation museum. I made a small donation towards Doc and both Tony and Wayne greatly excepted. Tony is the man responsible for saving Doc. He had the dream of saving a B-29 from China lake and returning it back to the air. :D For those interested:

Thanks for posting that. Seems there is very little info on the DOC project these days. Hopefully it is moving forward even if it is destined to become a static display...
