Hey there, more questions for the 47 buffs in the crowd. I am looking for photos of the original radio room rack setup. does anyone have a photo or 2 of this, or does anyone still have the original rack in theirs? Im looking for photos and measurements to re-create one.

I don't personally have any pictures, but the CAF's R4D has probably one of the most original radio operator's position I've ever seen. Surely someone here on WIX can supply you with some pictures of it that may help you.

Flitz polish is some of the best I've seen. We started using it on the F-104 before it was pushed to the back hanger.
I don't know many girls that want to do that kind of work but there is a bunch of KC-135 boom operators here at Altus that I suspect would be at home in dresses. I'm a little leery of those dudes...

Hey thanks! Measurements are much needed, and might anyone have a wide angle lense to give me the whole perspective? Maybe one from front, one from rear? One of each side of the cabin that is also.
Thanks again
Dave

I am unsure of what you mean by from the rear? As the rear of the compartment is the outer skin. The last one is basicly from the seat looking toward the radio set with the outer skin to the right.

From aft of the bulkhead at the aft end of the compartment looking forward, and then fro teh flightdeck, looking aft.
