A post on the Facebook Skyraider page says that Danny Summers' A-1E 132683 may have been purchased by Jim Slattery.

Anyone have details and/or the new location?

Ken

It is featured in the current Warbird Digest. Mr Slattery is also noted as the new owner of the "Brewster" Corsair, one of Mike Rawson's Helldivers, and an SBD.

Which is good for our industry if you think about it.
People with passion will accomplish what others will not.
If someone has the means to get aircraft in the air and care for them it is better then having them sit on the ground.

Well said, I would rather hear it coming than drive somewhere to see it sit...

Like all the flying warbirds of Champlin and Evergreen to name just two.:?
Oh plus everybody's favorite F2G
Now if everybody's was like Jerry Yagen or John Sessions the planets would all align and
we would all live in warbird harmony :P
Me thinks Rich is still cranky at me for my "scratch" related a/c ID issues :( :|
Actually I was refering to something very specific happening now that I'm trying my best
to throw a monkey wrench into!!!

According to the Douglas production lists, every B-23/UC-67 went to the Army , and several sold surplus to the civil market, none shown going to the Navy unless as a short term bailment deal but nothing on the production lists shows Navy as an operator.

Actually Jack,Rich is just pointing out the obvious, much as I love your posts and in particular your historic pics, the 10 great post you make are spoilt by the one post with snide comments you make.I refer to the comments about FBA,Marinell, the judgement on the TFC P-40 paintwork & other, etc, these are all examples of some ones hard work and often over a large period of time.Did it occur to you that some of the people you offend may be the same people that contributed to you when your house was fire damaged? I am not trying to silence you mate,as I said I love most of your posts, just asking that you think of the receiver of some of your opinions. And now,as you say, flame suit on :D Pete
