We put an R-1830 on an airboat in Florida back in the 70's. When you romped down on the accellerator pedal, the boat would flex in the middle from the torque.

For those that want to see more of this guy and what he does check out this link. He is located in Penngrove, CA about 25 minutes from my house. Sadly to say I have not been there yet. Maybe in the spring.
