OSH Camp Scholler nite life - need info for book

Fri Jan 16, 2009 11:21 am

HI, I think AirVenture is such a great event that I'm writing a guide book for first time visitors to AirVenture.
Part one of the book deals with camping at Camp Scholler.

At my age (54), I find that by 8pm, I'm pretty pooped, maybe I'll take in one or two nights of Theatre in the Woods, other than that a few cool ones with friends is about it so this is where I need help.

On my last visit to AirVenture, the young guys that camped next to me spent a few evenings in the Bud tent, north of the camp.

I need some input for my book on what nite life there is around Camp Scholler, tips, stories, pics would be greatly appreciated.

email me at ken@upaero.com or post your comments and pics!

Thank-you - ken kalynuk

A few of us WIXr's have been known to recruit there as well. :D

Nice try, Bear. But I seriously doubt that a picture including three delinquents (ok, two delinquents and Jay) will attract much of a crowd. :D

Isn't there another thread that deals with new warbird recruits ? I applaud you guys efforts ! Those are definitely three worthy candidates !
