WOOF!! can you reduce the resolution on the pictures of the General? Those puppies are big enough to fill the screen on my TV let alone over power my teeny 21 inch PC screen.
The General absolutely a one of a kind, genuine American hero who's like we'll probably never see again in our meager little lifetimes. I've re-read my paperback copy of 'I could never be so lucky' so many times it's about worn out but still a facinating true life story of the first magnatude

Sorry about the size. Figured most of us have high speed internet, and I apologize to the slower ones. My intent was to scan an old photo, that was damaged by moisture and stuck to a peice of broken glass and have it still be legible and catch all the color I could. Maybe I over killed it, but hey, you dont see the glass crack in the photo, so photoshopper I be :)

Its terrible that the original was damaged by moisture, but I think I cleaned it up to look fantastic for future generations to see.

Thanks for the comment though!

Hard to date that photo, boy those suits just never go outta style, do they

I remember Executive Suite used to make the trip to Harlingen back in the good ole days.

Executive Sweet, and the year was 1976

And yes, got love the suits in those days!

I fortunately missed that era! :)

In theory, I do have high speed internet (at least thats what KOMMIEKAST bills me for but I sometimes wish I had a crank to speed things up) but on my screen the Generals head took up the entire frame-

Sure it's big but how else could we see the little biplanes on the General's tie? :D
